Combining Values

You can use the charts on pages 8-2 through 8-4 of the PDRS. Or the CVC Formula(PDRS Page 1-10) which is: a + b(1-a) where "a" and "b" are the decimal equivalents of the disability percentages after using the rating string for each disability.You can use this calculator to arrive at the CVC value:

If you have more than two disabilities, use the calculator again, using the first answer as value a and the third rating as value b, and continuing until all have been combined.
